A visit to Lincoln isn't complete without stopping by Lincoln Cathedral . This magnificent 12th century gothic building is an iconic feature of the city, laying claim to being the tallest building in the world between 1311 and 1549.

The city's medieval offering doesn't end there, as directly opposite is Lincoln Castle . Constructed by William the Conqueror in the 11th century, it’s one of only two castles in the country to have two mottes and is home to one of only four surviving copies of Magna Carta.

Around a 10-minute walk from Lincoln station, you’ll find The Collection Museum an award winning archaeology museum located in the heart of the city centre, with interactive exhibitions, events and guided tours.

Visit The International Bomber Command Centre which marks the service and sacrifice of World War II aircrew, ground crew and support staff that lost their lives while serving with Bomber Command. The site has a memorial spire, peace gardens and visitor centre.
