The ticket office at Alfreton will have reduced opening hours due to the coronavirus pandemic:

The track crossing is no longer in use so customers should use the footbridge. As there are no lifts available at Alfreton, if you are unable to use the footbridge, please travel to Nottingham, then catch a train to Alfreton, which will stop on the opposite platform. There is no assistance available over the footbridge.
