Due to resurfacing work, Station Road and Queen Street will be closed overnight on weeknights to all vehicles from 20:00 on Monday 8 June through until 06:00 on Friday 19 June 2026.
Overnight road diversions will be in place, please allow extra time and plan ahead.
Station facilities will be open as normal during daytime hours, but some overnight access and services may be temporarily affected whilst the works take place.

This is part of the York Station Gateway Project, where Network Rail will construct a new multi-storey car park on the site. Parking for Blue Badge holders is available in the short stay car park.
