Routes of Remembrance

Every year we mark Armistice Day to remember the fallen heroes with services of Remembrance at stations across our network.

Supporting The Veteran’s Charity , we have created special 'Routes of Remembrance' lanyards for employees and applied a vinyl to a Cl222 train, which can be seen travelling on our intercity route.

Commemorating the Pridmore Brothers

EMR and Sheffield City Council have unveiled a plaque commemorating the Pridmore Brothers. Four of the brothers left Sheffield Station to serve in the Great War and all were killed during active service.
