Assisted Travel and Social Distancing
If you need assistance to make your journey we ask that you book assistance in advance to allow us to make sure we have everything in place ready to safely assist you to make your journey. Our colleagues will do everything they can to minimise physical contact but will ensure we provide the same personal service you are used to.

You can also book assistance by phone - just call us on 08000 11 33 23. Lines are open 24 hours a day (except Christmas Day and Boxing Day).​

When travelling with East Midlands Railway you can book assistance up to 6 hours before travel, we recommend booking in advance if you can, but you are not able to, we will always be there on the day to help you.

We hold your contact details and journey data in the Passenger Assist booking system for two years. We share your journey data with other Train Operating Companies and Network Rail - so we know you're looked after for the whole of your rail journey, even when you're not travelling on our trains.
