Accessible Travel Policy

Our commitment to passengers with disabilities

We are committed to making sure passengers living with a disability have an enjoyable journey with us. Our Accessible Travel Policy sets out how we protect the interests of passengers who have disabilities.

You’ll also find information about facilities on our trains and at our stations, access information for our stations, information on blue-badge parking, travelling with assistance dogs and how to book assistance when you’re travelling with us.

These PDFs are accessible using screen readers or other software with accessibility features (for example, Adobe Reader).

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note the following update to information printed on page 5 'seat reservations' & page 9 'seats on trains' in our Accessible Travel Policy. Due to the trains which run on our regional routes not having a seat reservation system, we can only reserve a wheelchair space and not a companion seat. Our on-train teams will be happy to assist your companion on the day of travel where possible.

We can provide information in the following alternative formats, Easy Read, Large Print, Audio, Braille, BSL, and on different coloured paper.
