East Midlands Railway is celebrating Sheffield station’s 150th Anniversary on Friday 31st January.
Media are invited to join EMR’s Executive team, including the new Managing Director, Will Rogers on the day. There will also be senior representatives from key local stakeholders and organisations in attendance. There will be an opportunity for photographs and interviews.
EMR has created pin badges with a logo exclusively designed for the anniversary which will be sold to raise money for Sheffield’s Children Hospital and a mini bottle of Henderson’s Relish, in an EMR branded box, will be handed out to customers.
There are a number of activities planned to recognise the landmark anniversary including a cake cutting with the longest serving employees at Sheffield station who have over 40 years of service.
